Job summary

Greene County Medical Center is seeking a registered nurse (RN) to join their patient care team. This role requires a valid Iowa RN license, BLS certification, and openness to cross-training, including potential exposure to the Emergency Department.

ACLS and PALS are expected to be obtained within six months of hire. Prior med/surg experience is preferred, but new graduates will be considered as part of a supportive, training-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Valid State of Iowa RN license.
• BLS required; ACLS and PALS to be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Previous med/surg experience preferred, but willing to train. Will accept new graduates.
• EPIC experience preferred but will train.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care with a team-oriented approach.
• Opportunity to cross-train, e.g., Emergency Department.
• CPR/BLS certification and ACLS/PALS to be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Maintain competency with EPIC and hospital policies.
