Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care from birth through the lifecycle, using established nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. This role is sign-on bonus eligible and requires current Georgia RN licensure.

You will coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team, maintain standards of practice, and contribute to patient safety and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• New Graduates eligible.
• Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
• BLS certification required.
• For PRN positions: One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting is required
• Bachelor?s degree preferred
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum)
• Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients.
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
• Maintain standards of practice and demonstrate professional growth and accountability.
