Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Georgia is seeking a staff nurse to deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients across the lifespan, using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care. You will work within organizational policies and coordinate care with assigned staff to ensure quality outcomes.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited school of nursing, Georgia RN license, BCLS, and a Bachelor’s degree; new graduates are welcome with hospital experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Georgia RN license (required).
• BCLS certification (required).
• Advanced certification in specialty area if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff to ensure quality nursing care.
• Maintain standards of practice within organizational policies and procedures.
