Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse for the Neonatal & Pediatric Float Pool, night shift, full-time. The role involves floating across neonatal and pediatric units within the New York City system, delivering compassionate care and maintaining high safety standards.

Required: Bachelor’s in Nursing, NYS RN licensure, BCLS; PALS. Preferred: NRP and 2+ years in pediatric, PICU or NICU settings. Rotating weekends/holidays and on-site work are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• Current NYS RN licensure required or willingness to obtain.
• BCLS certification required.
• PALS certification required (New Graduates obtain within 6 months).

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside nursing care for neonatal and pediatric patients across units.
• Float among neonatal and pediatric units to cover staffing needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care and safety.

Preferred

• At least two years of Pediatric, PICU and/or NICU RN experience
• NRP
