Job summary

Berkshire Health Systems in Massachusetts is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct and indirect nursing care, participate in the nursing process, and ensure safe, patient-centered care. The role requires current RN licensure in Massachusetts and a solid grounding in nursing principles.

BSN preferred; Associates degree required; strong commitment to professional development and ongoing education; BLS certification is required, with English language proficiency and good communication

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with thorough knowledge of nursing principles and procedures.
• Associates Degree in Nursing. BSN preferred.
• RN - Currently licensed as an RN in Massachusetts
• BLS
• Demonstrates continuing education in accordance with State regulations.
• Must be able to speak the English language in an understandable manner.
• Must possess sight/hearing senses or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately so the requirements of the position can be fully met.

• The Registered Professional Nurse functions as a health care team leader responsible for the safe delivery of patient-centered, goal oriented care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
