Job summary

The Staff Nurse at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center provides patient- and family-centered care, directing and coordinating nursing services to achieve optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, delegating, and evaluating nursing care in alignment with the professional practice model, within a 30-bed mixed acuity unit focused on vascular, thoracic and cardiac care. Background check may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing from a CCNE (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education) or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) accredited nursing program required.
• Current Ohio license or interim permit.
• Experience in relevant care setting preferred.
