Job summary

The Barclay at Boynton Beach is seeking a Staff Nurse (LPN) to join our warm senior living community in Boynton Beach, FL. You will provide medical treatment and administer medications per physician orders while maintaining high standards of resident care and safety.

Ideal candidates hold a Florida LPN license, current CPR certification, and have experience in assisted living or long-term care. Flexibility for weekends and holidays is required; we offer competitive pay and a strong benefits

Responsibilities

• Provide medical treatment and administer medications according to physician orders within the scope of practice and state regulations.
• Provide world-class care for residents and adapt to changing needs.
• Assist residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Work independently and with a team to prioritize tasks, document clearly, and follow through on assignments.
• Serve as charge nurse on shift for personal assistants under Wellness Leadership direction.

We are currently looking for a Staff Nurse for The Barclay at Boynton Beach

Primary Responsibilities of the Staff Nurse:

• Provide medical treatment and administer medication according to physician orders within the scope of their applicable board and state regulations for assistant living.
• Provide world class care and service for our residents while remaining flexible and adapt to change.
• Assist residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Work independently (with minimal direct supervision) and with a team to make decisions, organize/prioritize tasks effectively, document clearly, and follow through on assignments.
• Serve as charge nurse on shift for the personal assistants under the direction of the Wellness Leadership team

Requirements

• Must have a caring heart, willing to serve others.
• Assisted Living Experience is a plus
• Current license for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) issued by the state.
• Current CPR certification
• Assisted Living or Long-term care experience preferred
• Current First Aid certification preferred
• Must be flexible and prepared to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays
