Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Staff Nurse for the department of Otolaryngology at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
The Staff Nurse, in collaboration with physicians, nursing staff, and other members of the healthcare team, oversees, coordinates, and provides focused, episodic care to Rutgers Health patients. This care encompasses health promotion, health maintenance, or management of health-related problems that is delivered in face-to-face or telephone encounters. Additional responsibilities include delegation, direction, and supervision of the activities of Rutgers Health LPNs and non-nursing clinical staff to meet the needs of Rutgers Health patients.
