Job summary

Aura Health is seeking a Professional Staff Nurse in the Operating Room to provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care for surgical patients. You will conduct pre-operative assessments and prepare patients for surgery, perform intra-operative monitoring and assist with patient care during procedures, and coordinate post-operative care to support safe transitions.

You will partner with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the OR team to maintain safety, aseptic technique, and quality outcomes

Qualifications

• Registered nursing licensure and perioperative/OR nursing knowledge.
• Ability to monitor patients closely and respond to clinical changes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong attention to infection prevention, safety practices, and quality care.
