Job summary

Aspire Indiana Health, Inc. is hiring a full-time Staff Nurse to join a multidisciplinary team delivering integrated care across office and community settings in Indianapolis. The role emphasizes safety, crisis intervention, and infection control, with a daytime schedule Monday–Friday and some local travel.

Qualified candidates hold a BSN or an associate degree in nursing, have RN licensure in Indiana, and ideally one year of mental health experience. A $2,000 hiring bonus is available.

Qualifications

• BSN or an Associates degree from a two-year accredited nursing program required.
• Minimum of one year supervised experience in a mental health/psychiatric setting highly preferred.
• Must have the ability to empathize and be compassionate to client needs.
• Must be able to respond appropriately and effectively in crisis situations by using good judgment and following Aspire protocols.
• Must be recognized as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the State of Indiana.

Responsibilities

• Provide a combination of office and community-based nursing services as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Coordinate nursing care to meet the physical and behavioral health needs of Aspire clients.
• Maintain a high level of safety awareness and apply infection control and crisis interventions.

Aspire Indiana Health is a nonprofit provider of comprehensive “whole health” services including primary medical care, behavioral health, recovery services and programs addressing the social determinants of health such as housing and employment. Aspire has health centers in five Central Indiana counties serving Hoosiers of all ages and walks of life.

Position Summary

The Staff Nurse will provide a combination of office and community based nursing services as part of a multidisciplinary team-oriented organization. This position requires a high level of knowledge of nursing requirements for providing integrated care for the population served at Aspire. This includes nursing knowledge of the physical and behavioral health needs of Aspire clients and the ability to work with clients and other team members to coordinate the nursing care needed to meet these needs.This position demands a high level of safety awareness and teaching skills. Knowledge and experience of DSM, crisis & emergency interventions and infection control are needed

Education and Experience

• Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) or an Associates degree from a two (2) year accredited nursing program required
