LVT in Seattle is seeking a Staff ML Ops Engineer to own the model lifecycle as infrastructure that turns research into production-ready, self-serve tooling for ML, including CV models today and growing LLM/VLM workloads. You will implement stable packaging, versioning, deployment, and monitoring across the portfolio.

This senior IC role partners with AI/ML research, the application backend, and platform teams.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years of engineering experience with ML-infrastructure / MLOps in production.
• Hands-on experience operating LLM or VLM workloads, including model serving and prompt/version management.
• Experience designing self-serve ML deployment with model registry and CI/CD for models.
• Strong API design and security/observability mindset across polyglot boundaries.
• Technical leadership track record; formal management not required.

Aufgaben

• Own the model lifecycle end to end with packaging, CI/CD, serving, and drift detection.
• Unify LLM, VLM workloads under platform discipline with verison-pinned artifacts.
• Define CI/CD path to make research-to-prod self-serve and safe.
• Define and own API boundary between model platform and application backend.
• Mentor IC productionization and raise platform maturity.
