Job summary

ZipRecruiter is seeking a senior ML leader to define and execute the technical vision for core marketplace components, including recommendation engines and matching systems. You will partner with Engineering and Product Leadership to drive the ML strategy and deliver high-scale, real-time experiences that connect job seekers with employers.

You will mentor ML engineers and data scientists, establish rigorous experimentation practices, and push for measurable improvements in production latency,

Qualifications

• 8+ years deploying ML models in production.
• End-to-end ML solutions that scale in production.
• Expertise in recommendation, personalization, ranking or interaction prediction.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, DL frameworks.
• Proven leadership and mentoring across teams.
• Experience with online experiments and offline metrics.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the ML strategy and roadmap for marketplace components.
• Architect high-scale ML systems for real-time prediction and retrieval.
• Solve matchmaking and recommendation challenges in a two-sided marketplace.
• Mentor ML Engineers and Data Scientists across teams.
• Drive end-to-end model ownership and production excellence.
