Evolve is hiring a Staff Machine Learning Engineer to own production ML systems, feature pipelines, training and inference workflows, deployment, monitoring, and retraining. You will set engineering standards, mentor others, and partner with Product and Data teams to drive business impact.

You’ll influence ML infrastructure strategy as a senior contributor, balancing build versus buy and aligning with company goals in a lean, remote team.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years building and operating production ML or data-intensive systems.
• Led ML systems from idea through sustained production use with measurable impact.
• Expert Python and strong software engineering fundamentals: testing, code review, CI/CD, packaging, dependency management, and observability.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS or equivalent) and containers/orchestration.
• Experience designing and running production ML systems: training pipelines, inference, deployment, monitoring, retraining.

Aufgaben

• Build and operate ML systems end to end: data/feature pipelines, training/evaluation, batch or online inference, deployment, monitoring, retraining, and failure handling.
• Define patterns for shipping ML: packaging, deploying, versioning, monitoring, retraining across Snowflake, dbt, Python, AWS, and Kubernetes-based stack.
• Shape ML infrastructure strategy: evaluate build-versus-buy options and set the roadmap for production footprint growth.
• Productionize LLM-based products: evaluation harnesses, guardrails, cost and latency management, and reliable post-launch operations.
• Lead the technical direction and hands-on delivery of prioritized ML initiatives.
• Translate business opportunities into actionable technical plans with adoption and impact metrics.
