Uber Freight Marketplace is building the next generation of logistics technology. We seek a Machine Learning Engineer to own ML models end-to-end in UF marketplace, including cost prediction and demand elasticity, and to collaborate with backend engineers for production deployment.

The role emphasizes advanced modeling, causal inference, and optimization within a fast-growing marketplace context. Strong Python, PyTorch, and ML system design skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience building ML models for business problems.
• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Proficient with modern AI/ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch).

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end ML models for Uber Freight marketplace (cost prediction, demand, elasticity).
• Collaborate with backend engineers to deploy models to production and monitor performance.
