Inari seeks a Staff Machine Learning Engineer to join our AI Team in Cambridge, MA, focusing on production-ready ML pipelines and exploring new modeling approaches for crop trait improvement. Qualifications

• MS or PhD in CS, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Computational Biology, or related field; BS with equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of ML engineering experience with production systems.
• Production ML: deploy, maintain, and monitor models at scale.
• Python & frameworks: NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn; PyTorch/TensorFlow.
• Cloud & MLOps: AWS, Docker, MLflow, Airflow.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and maintain production ML pipelines at scale.
• Integrate ML systems with genomic, phenotypic, and biological data platforms using AWS and containers.
• Collaborate with biologists to contextualize data and drive modeling programs.
• Train and validate statistical and ML models; prototype new approaches.
• Implement integrations with third-party tools and foundation models; stay current with ML research.
• Drive major workstreams autonomously with cross-functional teams.
• Communicate results across disciplines and contribute to engineering standards.
