Job summary

Unity Technologies is seeking a Staff ML Engineer to design and evolve the offline ML platform in Bellevue. You will own large-scale ML pipelines, enable distributed model training, and drive reliability and cost efficiency across data processing systems.

You will collaborate with ML engineers and platform teams to scale datasets, training workflows, and deployment of models. This role blends software engineering with ML system design in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience building production ML data pipelines and datasets for training and experimentation.
• Experience with distributed training workloads and large-scale data processing.
• Strong Python programming and systems reasoning for scalable, cost-efficient pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate large-scale data pipelines to generate training datasets for ML.
• Build infrastructure to support distributed training workflows (PyTorch, Ray).
• Integrate ML pipelines with workflow orchestration (Flyte, Airflow).
• Improve reproducibility, observability, and testing of ML pipelines.
