Intuit invites applicants for a Staff Machine Learning Engineer to work with AI scientists and ML engineers to create AI-powered experiences and deploy models at scale using modern tools and pipelines.

You will build data pipelines, train and deploy models, and run regular A/B tests while monitoring production systems and collaborating with product teams and leadership. Strong Python and ML framework skills, plus cloud familiarity, are essential.

Qualifications

• BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of experience.
• Experience with Data Science tools and frameworks (e.g. Python, Scikit, NLTK, Numpy, Pandas, TensorFlow, Keras, R, Spark).
• Knowledge of ML techniques (classification, regression, clustering).
• Understand ML principles (training, validation).
• Knowledge of data query and data processing tools (SQL).
• CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, performance, memory/tuning.
• Software engineering fundamentals: Git, Github, workflows, production-ready code.
• Experience deploying highly scalable software for millions of users.
• Experience with AWS and GCP cloud technologies.
• Strong oral and written communication; able to present to non-technical users

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with AI scientists to create and refine features from data and build training/deploy pipelines.
• Build "machine learning ready" feature pipelines.
• Partner with AI scientists to design ML algorithms.
• Run regular A/B tests and analyze model impact.
• Monitor and maintain production models.
• Work cross-functionally with product managers and engineers and communicate results.
• Explore new tech trends to align with customer benefits
