Job summary

PayPal in Austin, Texas (Hybrid) is seeking a senior ML Engineer to lead end-to-end work on advanced machine learning models, from development through production deployment.

You will design, develop, optimize models, oversee preprocessing, deploy in production, and collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and product teams to integrate ML into products. You will monitor model performance and apply adjustments as needed to maximize impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Experience with major ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
• Expertise with cloud platforms and tooling for data processing and model deployment (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Responsibilities

• Drive design, development, and optimization of advanced ML models and algorithms
• Oversee preprocessing and analysis for large-scale datasets
• Deploy and maintain ML solutions in production environments
