Job summary

Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood is seeking a Dining Room Supervisor to support the Staff Meals Department and ensure a positive dining experience for team members. Under the Manager's direction, you will implement established procedures for the Employee Dining Room and provide guidance to staff as necessary.

Requires a High School Diploma and at least two years of restaurant/cafeteria/culinary experience.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or equivalent required and a minimum of two years of restaurant, cafeteria and/or culinary experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist Manager in ensuring compliance to all Employee Dining Room procedures including the areas relating to food handling, presentation and sanitation.
• Provide direction to staff as appropriate and ensure quality and timely delivery of services.
• Maintain a clean and orderly dining room and equipment.
• Stock supplies and food items at the appropriate stations; order as needed in the absence of the manager.
• Assist with the training of new team members.
• Assist in ensuring the best service is provided to all team members.
• Support cost control measures and offer suggestions for cost containment and profitability.
• Demonstrate actions and behaviors aligning with the Company’s Mission and Values.
• Escalate any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations to management or Ethics Hotline.
• Promote positive guest and team member relations at all times.
• Maintain a safe, hazard-free environment within area of responsibility.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description:

• Assist Manager in ensuring proper cost control measures are adhered and offers suggestions to relating to cost containment and profitability.
