Job summary
Google Inc. is looking for a Staff Linux Diagnostics Software Engineer for our Sunnyvale, CA location. You will develop embedded software and diagnostics tests supporting pre/post-silicon validation for in-house SoCs and machine learning systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software design, testing, and troubleshooting, with at least 8 years of experience in software development and embedded systems.
The role includes providing technical leadership, solving complex reliability issues, and managing project priorities. Compensation includes a competitive salary of $207,000 - $301,000, a 20% bonus target, equity, and benefits.

- 5 years of experience in testing and launching software products.
- 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop embedded software and diagnostics tests for SoCs and ML systems.
