Job summary

Navitas Semiconductor Usa is seeking a Staff Product Engineer - Integrated Voltage Regulators to join the IVR Business Unit. You will own device characterization and datasheet development from first silicon through production release, building automated benches and ensuring data-quality across tests.

You will collaborate with design, marketing, and test engineering to set defensible limits, document whether specs are bench/ATE verified, and help deploy production trim and calibration workflows

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of semiconductor product engineering, characterization, or validation of power-management ICs, DC-DC converters, or power modules.
• Understanding of switching regulators, converter control, and analog/mixed-signal behavior.
• Hands-on characterization with low-voltage, high-current instrumentation.
• Proficiency in Python for automation and data analysis with Git for version control.
• Experience applying statistics to characterization data using JMP or similar tools.
• Authorship or substantial contribution to a released datasheet or electrical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Define device-characterization plans across voltage, load, temp, and process corners.
• Measure efficiency, regulation, ripple, startup/shutdown, and fault behavior.
• Characterize inductors and capacitors versus current/bias/temperature.
• Characterize thermal performance and safe operating area for processor placement.
• Build automated benches for low-voltage, high-current measurements.
• Develop characterization boards and contribute to test-automation framework.
• Establish calibration and data-quality practices for repeatable results.
• Own the product datasheet end-to-end, including specs and timing diagrams.
• Collaborate with design, marketing, test engineering to set defensible limits.
• Partner with test engineering on ATE coverage and bench-to-ATE correlation.
• Define production trim, calibration, and non-volatile memory programming.
• Provide data for qualification, NPI, yield, and change assessments.
• Lead root-cause investigations with cross-functional teams.
