We’re seeking a SeniorNetworkEngineer to join our Austin-based team. Your focus will be onexpert-level troubleshootingacross complex, distributednetworkenvironments. You’ll play a critical role in diagnosing and resolving issues that impact performance, stability, and security - ensuring seamless connectivity across our global infrastructure. In addition to troubleshooting, you’ll contribute to the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of ournetworksystems, supporting business growth and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced troubleshooting across LAN/WAN/WLAN/cloud environments to resolve performance and stability issues.
• Monitor and diagnosenetworkhealth using on-prem and cloud-based tools.
• Design and implement secure, standardizednetworksystems aligned with best practices.
• Continuously assess and optimizenetworkperformance, security, and reliability.
• Collaborate withnetworkleadership to shape global architecture and strategic direction.
• Maintain accurate documentation including system diagrams and operational procedures.
• Administer and support routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and VPN appliances.
• Partner with Information Security to ensure compliance and protect company assets.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 3+ years in senior network engineering roles within globally distributed environments, including hands‑on experience in a Network Operations Center (NOC).
• Must carry 1 of the following certifications; CCNP, JNCIP‑Junos, or equivalent.
• Proven expertise in troubleshooting complexnetworkissues and implementing solutions.
• Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, IPSec, and enterprise‑gradenetworking hardware.
• Ability to manage multiple projects from design through implementation.
• Experience designing and supporting LAN, WAN, and WLAN infrastructure.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., LogicMonitor, Splunk).
• Experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, shell scripting).
• Understanding of enterprisenetworkarchitecture and data center connectivity.
• Proficiency in firewallengineering and SD‑WAN design and management.
