As a Staff Identity and Access Management Engineer, you will play a crucial role in refining our organization's approach to managing user access and permissions. You'll be responsible for creating a comprehensive inventory of accounts and permissions across our tools, all while ensuring that our identity and access management practices align closely with security principles. Your work will focus on automating workflows to enhance security and reduce the risks associated with over-privileged or duplicate service accounts, making a significant impact on our overall security posture.

  • Regularly monitor and review user access levels to ensure compliance with security standards.

  • Evaluate the impact of incidents and coordinate communication between technical teams and stakeholders to ensure a smooth resolution.
  • Document response actions and outcomes for future reference while developing comprehensive incident response plans tailored to identity and access management.
  • Develop comprehensive technical documentation for identity and access management processes.
  • Create user manuals and guidelines that promote best practices in access management.
  • Document workflow automation processes clearly and maintain updated documentation to reflect changes in systems and policies.
  • Collaborate with engineering and security teams to gather essential information for accurate documentation.

Compensation

The typical starting salary range for this role is: $138,000-$173,000. Final compensation amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amount listed above. As an employee at Ridgeline, you’ll have many opportunities for advancement in your career and can make a true impact on the product. In addition to the base salary, Ridgeline employees can participate in our Company Stock Plan subject to the applicable Stock Option Agreement.
