Nscale is hiring a Staff Identity Governance Engineer in Houston to own the identity governance platform, govern privileged access, and deliver robust audit evidence for SOC 2, ISO 27001 and SOX. You will collaborate with app owners, managers, and the privileged access engineer to drive adoption and ensure time-bound access reviews across Tier Zero SaaS platforms.

Candidates should have 7+ years in identity/security engineering, with 4+ years on identity governance and hands-on experience with

Qualifications

• 7+ years in identity or security engineering with 4+ years in identity governance.
• Experience implementing identity governance platforms (Okta Governance, SailPoint, Saviynt, ConductorOne, Opal, Lumos).
• Experience designing and running end-to-end access reviews and certifications, including revocation.
• Experience with role/persona modelling, birthright rules, and separation of duties.
• Knowledge of SOC 2, ISO 27001 or SOX access controls and evidence required by auditors.
• Scripting and API integration for apps lacking native connectors.
• Ability to drive adoption of reviews with app owners and explain evidence to auditors.

Responsabilités

• Stand up and run the identity governance platform; configure access requests and expiry.
• Design and run quarterly privileged access reviews and annual standard access reviews.
• Govern admin roles on Tier Zero SaaS platforms with the privileged access engineer.
• Drive adoption of reviews and approvals with app owners and managers.
• Produce audit evidence directly from tools for SOC 2, ISO 27001 and SOX.
