Job summary

1000 Micron Technology, Inc. seeks a Staff I4.0 Analyst to report to the Smart Manufacturing and Artificial Intelligence organization. This role involves identifying innovative solutions for smart manufacturing, deploying existing solutions, and capturing metrics for improvement.

The ideal candidate will hold a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering and possess over 3 years of experience in quality management or process equipment engineering. Strong analytical and communication skills are a must.

As a Staff I4.0 Analyst at Micron Technology, Inc., you will report to the Smart Manufacturing and Artificial Intelligence organization. The team defines, drives and delivers end‑to‑end smart manufacturing solutions, integrated across functions of the business. The team will look into applying industry‑leading methodologies in automation, AI and machine learning to enhance Micron’s product development, business and administrative processes across the company.

Responsibilities
  • Identification and pioneering new solutions driven by business needs from idea inception through prototyping and proof of concept delivery to end users.
  • Deployment of existing FE smart‑manufacturing solutions to FE sites, including assisting in user acceptance testing, capturing enhancement requests and documenting business benefits and impact of the project.
  • Coordinate SMAI tactical support on current top quality issues faced by end users at FE sites.
  • Work with business users to capture and analyze information related to the adoption of I4.0 for smart manufacturing.
  • Identify gaps, weaknesses, and inefficiencies in the solution today.
  • Define business solutions and propose projects for implementation.
  • Lead projects and activities that will require the coordination, support, and management of resources from global teams.
  • Provide expert functional and process guidance on system capabilities.
  • Use metrics and performance data to understand opportunities for improvement.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 3+ years of experience in Quality management or Process Equipment Engineering.
  • Strong domain knowledge of fab processes and a good understanding of quality systems.
  • Experience in quality improvement activities.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Experience in leading and managing projects.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and collaboration with other departments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience working in a global manufacturing environment.
  • Strong program or project management skills.
