Job summary

ChargePoint is seeking a Staff Hardware Systems Design Engineer to join our Hardware Engineering team in Campbell, CA. You will design and develop innovative hardware solutions for our electric vehicle charging systems and collaborate closely with software engineers to ensure integrated, reliable products.

You will validate designs, participate in reviews, and mentor junior engineers while contributing to project planning and execution in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of hardware design and development experience.
• Proficiency with Altium, Cadence, or similar tools.
• Strong analog and digital circuit design principles.
• Experience with embedded systems and microcontroller programming.
• Knowledge of power electronics and thermal management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
