Job summary

Samsung is seeking a Staff GPU Graphics Core Performance Verification Engineer to lead pre-silicon verification for next‑gen GPU and IP. You will develop scalable test infrastructure, drive performance analysis, and partner with architecture, modeling, RTL, and validation teams to ensure performance targets are met.

You will mentor engineers, shape verification methodologies, and work across simulation, emulation, and silicon environments to optimize workloads for AI/ML compute trends.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience or 4+ years with a Master's/2+ years with a PhD in related field.
• Strong experience in GPU performance verification and architectural validation.
• Deep understanding of GPU architecture, graphics pipelines, and compute workloads.
• Hands-on programming in C++ and Python in Linux environments.
• Experience building performance tests, profiling infrastructure, and workload characterization.
• Familiarity with OpenGL, Vulkan, OpenCL, and related GPU software stacks.
• Excellent problem solving and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-silicon performance verification and correlation for GPU and IP.
• Develop scalable test infrastructure and workloads for performance characterization.
• Collaborate with GPU architecture, modeling, RTL, and validation teams to identify bottlenecks and drive optimizations.
