We are looking to add new talent to our growing team! We are currently seeking a Staff Geologist 1 to work in a technical support role with highly skilled professionals on diverse project teams in a dynamic environment. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing group and company and get involved in a variety of projects for a diverse range of clients. This is a full‑time position located in our Honolulu, HI or Makawao, Maui, HI office.
In this role, you will support both environmental and geotechnical projects through a combination of field and office assignments. Geotechnical work will focus on field investigations, subsurface exploration, construction observation, field documentation, data organization, and related project support under the direction of experienced engineers and geologists. Environmental work will include site characterization and environmental compliance activities, with an emphasis on stormwater programs. You will gain practical experience in both disciplines and may have the opportunity to select a primary technical focus as your career develops. Minimum Skills and Requirements:
The salary range for this position in Honolulu, HI and Maui, HI is $65,000 - $75,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based upon a variety of factors such as education, related work experience, certificates, skills, and current market conditions. Haley & Aldrich reviews salary ranges each quarter to assess competitiveness with the market.
