• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, or closely related field.
• 5 years of experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers in planning and executing baseline surveys, permitting, data evaluations, regulatory compliance, site characterization, investigations, and remediation tasks.
• Conduct fieldwork at project sites with environmental media (soil, sediment, groundwater, water) and oversee drilling for soil sampling and groundwater wells.
• Collaborate with engineers, hydrologists, and geologists on project work.
• Participate in permitting, site investigation, and remediation projects.
• Prepare technical reports, work plans, letters, and memoranda.

Join us to improve quality of life for our clients, communities, and each other.Accountabilities:As part of this role, you will be responsible for assisting Project Managers (PMs) in planning and executing baseline surveys, permitting, data evaluations, regulatory compliance, environmental site characterization, investigation, and remediation tasks.Your responsibilities will include office and field work. Field work will often be performed at project sites with environmental media (e.g., soil, sediment, groundwater, surface water, etc.) and will offer you an opportunity to plan, coordinate, and oversee various scopes of work including drilling for soil sampling and groundwater well installation, groundwater sampling, and subcontractor oversight. It is essential to conduct and manage fieldwork with a focus on health and safety.Collaborating with multiple engineering disciplines, hydrologists, and geologists on relevant project workParticipate in all aspects of permitting, site investigation, and remediation projectsCommunicate and work closely with project teams, clients, and regulatory agenciesPerform fieldwork which may include drilling oversight for soil sampling and/or groundwater well installation, groundwater sampling, or subcontractor oversightAssisting with writing and preparing technical reports, work plans, letters, and memorandumConduct project-related research (historical data, regulations.
