Job summary

Lightfield is seeking an experienced engineer to lead ambitious projects that turn complex business data and emerging AI capabilities into powerful product experiences. You will own product development end-to-end, shape direction with customers and founders, and mentor peers to establish engineering best practices.

You’ll be responsible for delivering reliable, scalable systems and driving product impact through hands-on leadership and collaboration across teams.

• 7+ years of experience building and shipping software products.
• Strong full-stack engineering skills.
• Passion for building products customers love and making Lightfield intuitive, intelligent, and indispensable.
• Able to independently scope, plan, and drive projects while mentoring others.

• We’re looking for an experienced engineer to lead ambitious projects that turn complex business data and emerging AI capabilities into powerful new product experiences
• At Lightfield, engineers lead product development. They work directly with customers, identify important problems, shape solutions, and take end-to-end ownership of projects from inception to impact
• You’ll help shape product direction, lead substantial engineering projects, and take responsibility for delivering exceptional results through hands‑on leadership
• Work with customers, founders, and cross‑functional teams to understand problems and identify opportunities
• Lead substantial projects end-to-end, from product design and technical architecture through implementation, launch, and iteration
• Build sophisticated AI-native products that transform complex business data into actionable intelligence, helping customers discover opportunities, make better decisions, and automate workflows
• Build reliable, high-performance systems with strong observability, metrics, and operational practices
• Lead technical design discussions, mentor other engineers, conduct thoughtful code reviews, and help establish engineering best practices
• Help build a world‑class engineering team through recruiting and knowledge‑sharing
