Job summary

Superstate is hiring a staff full stack engineer to lead our frontend and backend initiatives. You will influence the direction of product experiences and help shape scalable, trustworthy interfaces across all frontend properties.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with Product and Design, and drive long-term technical vision while delivering high-quality user experiences for a DeFi-focused audience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 9+ years of professional engineering experience.
• Proven track record in developing web applications and shipping user facing features.
• Familiarity with front-end architecture, performance, security, and usability.
• Familiarity with the DeFi ecosystem.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead long term technical direction for maintaining and scaling web products.
• Build functional UI elements from design mocks with emphasis on performance and accessibility.
• Collaborate with Product, Design and Engineering to deliver user-friendly experiences.
• Develop a unified styles library across products.
• Mentor other engineers and plan projects for long-term impact.
• Own and drive architectural decisions and code quality.
