Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Staff Engineer to lead high-impact technically focused initiatives within the Global Payment Network Technology organization. You will drive architectural modernization, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product, data and security teams to deliver scalable, resilient systems for mass money movement.

You will evangelize a bold technical vision, decompose complex problems, and ensure design quality while advancing API standards and platform strategy across divisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
• At least 7 years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, cloud computing, and data architecture.
