Job summary

Ping Identity in Denver, Colorado is seeking a Staff Software Engineer, Frontend to join the Neo engineering team. You will design and build high-performance React web applications, collaborate with product, UX, and backend teams, and help shape frontend architecture.

You will mentor peers, contribute to a scalable design system, ensure accessibility, optimize performance, and maintain build pipelines with tools like Vite. The role offers a competitive salary and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of front-end development experience building production web apps with React.
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript with responsive design.
• Experience with state management and scalable front-end architectures (Redux/Redux Toolkit).
• Hands-on experience integrating RESTful APIs and collaborating with backend teams.
• Solid testing and quality practices (Jest/Vitest, React Testing Library, Playwright or Cypress).
• Familiarity with GitHub/GitLab, CI/CD, linting, and test pipelines.
• Practical performance diagnosis and browser debugging.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable front-end solutions using modern React patterns.
• Collaborate with Product, UX, and Backend teams to implement user-centric features and API contracts.
• Build reusable UI components and contribute to a design system.
• Ensure code quality with PRs, reviews, tests, and documentation.
• Optimize apps for speed and reliability across devices.
• Ensure WCAG-aligned accessibility in component design.
• Participate in architecture discussions to define front-end standards.
• Maintain build pipelines and manage dependencies with tools like Vite.
• Mentor engineers through pairing and technical guidance.
