Job summary

XCEED is seeking a Staff Frontend Software Engineer to own frontend strategy, architecture, and delivery. You will bridge business goals with technical execution, guiding large-scale React apps and a federated design system to deliver fast, accessible interfaces across platforms.

You will work with product, design, and cross-functional teams, shaping standards, tooling, and governance while mentoring peers to raise the bar on performance, security, and developer velocity.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software/frontend engineering, staff/principal level or leading large frontend initiatives.
• Deep production React mastery (reconciliation, hooks, rendering) and Next.js App Router depth for SEO.
• Strong experience with state management, caching, data-fetching (TanStack Query) and SPA architecture.
• Experience building/maintaining federated Design System across product lines.
• Strong communication to explain tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Shape long-term frontend architecture across a suite of React apps and Next.js, including shared packages.
• Build and maintain shared libraries, design-token system, build/release pipelines, and CI/CD.
• Deliver hands-on frontend work and raise the bar through example and mentorship.
• Establish frontend standards and governance, including code-review culture and security practices.
• Own Core Web Vitals, performance budgets, accessibility (WCAG) with a mobile-first lens.
