Job summary

Relativity ODA LLC is seeking a Senior Frontend Architect to own the technical architecture of our design system, published libraries, and migration strategy across many repositories. You will set release policies, ensure accessibility, and lead engineering standards across teams.

The role requires deep React and TypeScript expertise, strong mentorship, and the ability to align technical direction with business goals in a hybrid/remote US environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years building and operating frontend systems that other teams rely on.
• Demonstrated technical leadership across multiple teams or domains.
• Strong background in architecture, security, and reliability at scale.
• Ability to define technical direction and drive cross-team alignment.
• Experience translating business goals into technical strategy.
• Proven ability to influence without formal authority.
• Strong mentorship and technical communication skills.
• Deep React and TypeScript experience.
• Experience owning build and release tooling for a published package.
• Deep experience with semantic HTML and CSS, and accessible component patterns.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical architecture of the design system: module format, packaging, and coexistence on a page under micro frontends.
• Set versioning, deprecation, and breaking-change policy for a library used by 60+ repos.
• Define build, release, and testing strategy including visual regression and token pipeline.
• Architect library consumption for AI coding agents to ensure accessibility by default.
• Define accessibility standards with pipeline-validated conformance for customers.
• Own reliability and incident response across new and legacy libraries with escalation model.
• Resolve complex cross-organizational problems through deep technical effort and collaboration.
• Drive frontend engineering standards via reviews, patterns, and coaching, aligning with product delivery.
