Job summary

Movoto, part of the Lower family, is seeking a Senior Front-End Software Engineer who thrives on performance optimization, SSR architecture, and pushing modern web applications to their limits. You will help drive Lighthouse scores into the 90s+ and shape the frontend strategy across large-scale projects.

You will design Vue 3 + SSR solutions, improve Core Web Vitals, and collaborate with product, SEO, and backend teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience building modern, high-traffic web applications.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript and Vue.js or React experience.
• Comfortable with Node.js and SSR environments.
• Proven experience optimizing performance for large-scale consumer apps.
• Hands-on experience with Core Web Vitals, profiling, and optimization.
• Experience with AI-native engineering workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain high-performance Vue 3 + SSR applications.
• Optimize SSR pipelines for speed, memory efficiency, and scalability.
• Improve Core Web Vitals across large-scale web applications.
• Reduce hydration cost and improve Time to Interactive.
• Design SSR/CSR hybrid rendering strategies and optimize bundling.
• Profile JS with DevTools, Lighthouse, and memory analysis.
• Collaborate with product, SEO, and backend teams.
• Mentor mid-level and junior engineers on front-end best practices.
