Job summary

Intuit is seeking a Staff Financial Analyst in Mountain View, CA to join the Ecosystem Services Finance team. You will partner with the Money business segment to drive growth through data-driven insights, modeling, and strategic financial leadership.

In this fast-paced fintech environment, you will develop 1- and 3-year plans, build robust financial models, and collaborate with product, marketing, risk, and analytics to deliver actionable business guidance and transparent reporting.

Qualifications

• Undergrad in Finance/Accounting/Business; Masters preferred
• 6+ years FP&A or equivalent in corporate finance, IB, PE, or analytics
• 4+ years of financial forecasting or analytic modeling

Responsibilities

• Develop long- and short-term financial plans for QuickBooks Money
• Partner with product, marketing, sales, risk, and analytics to track KPIs
• Build financial models for GTM, pricing and new channels
• Prepare month-end close packages and explain variances
• Drive process improvements and automation

The US GBSG Finance team is critical in driving business growth and profitability through strategic, financial and operational leadership.

You will help us work towards our vision and solve the wide range of problems small businesses face as they try to survive and grow. Responsibilities

• Strategic planning: Be a trusted advisor to the QuickBooks Money team as a finance leader for Bill Pay, Banking and SMB Credit Card offerings, to develop and refine our 1- and 3-year strategic plans, proactively highlighting risks and opportunities related to business growth and drive optimal investment decisions through data-driven insights and business modeling expertise.
• Operational excellence: Partner with the Product, Marketing, Sales, Risk, Commercial and Analytics partners to develop and monitor key performance indicators to drive insights and decision making in order to achieve our strategic and financial plans.
• Modeling: Work with business partners and finance colleagues to create financial models to analyze complex business scenarios that drive and inform our go-to-market, sales and product strategies (e.g. promotion, pricing, new sales channel opportunities, product development priorities).
• Financial reporting: Prepare financial reporting deliverables (month-end close package, variance explanations, etc) to enable transparency into the business’s performance and drivers. Liaise with the Corporate Accounting team and cross-functional business partners to ensure correct accounting treatment of business activities.
• Process improvement: Drive efficiencies and continuous improvement by streamlining, standardizing and automating processes and reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• Undergrad in Finance, Accounting or Business Management or equivalent work experience; Masters in Finance a plus
• 6+ years FP&A experience or equivalent tenure from related positions in corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, or analytics
• 4+ years of experience with financial forecasting or analytic modeling
• Enjoy operating in an extremely fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Proven track record of translating business results into an insightful & consumable story for leadership teams, ideally in high-growth software environments
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to partner with all levels of the organization, influence stakeholders using data and collaborate in an inclusive culture
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical, problem solving, and financial modeling skills
• Self-starter with a desire to quickly learn and excel; willing and able to initiate, manage, and execute projects with minimal supervision
• Grace under pressure with a good sense of humor and dose of humility
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with Hyperion Essbase preferred
• Experience with a Fintech business a plus

The Expected Base Pay Range For This Position Is
