Job summary

Dover Fueling Solutions (DFS) is seeking a software engineer in Austin, TX to design and develop new functions for Wayne payment products and integrations with third-party payment solutions. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent working knowledge of object-oriented programming languages.
• 5+ years of software development experience within Windows environments.
• Proficiency in C# and .NET Core with Visual Studio IDE.
• Strong object-oriented and multi-threading programming skills.
• Familiarity with design patterns and secure software concepts (cryptography, OpenSSL).
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and speaking.
• Experience with hardware devices and integration testing.

Responsibilities

• Understand, design and develop new functions in Wayne payment products and Wayne integrations with 3rd party payment products.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and maintain product backlog grooming.
• Complete individual assignments in each sprint with minimal supervision.
• Assist triage of customer field issues with New Product Support and Help Desk teams.
• Conduct design and code reviews to ensure high quality.
