Bluejay is hiring a Member of Technical Staff in San Francisco to architect and build systems that simulate, analyze, and evaluate conversational AI agents across voice and multimodal domains. You’ll own end-to-end delivery on a high-visibility project with real-time AWS infrastructure for millions of conversations.

The role emphasizes full ownership, on-site collaboration with customers, and the opportunity to impact a growing platform for AI reliability.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in relevant field (JD references 2+; confirm).
• High technical bar across the stack, specifically databases, AWS, and AI engineering.
• Strong communicator and personable with customer-facing experience.
• Bachelor's degree and/or top startup experience is a strong signal.
• Able to work on-site in SF, five days a week, 9–7.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop simulation, analysis, and evaluation systems for conversational AI (voice & multimodal).
• Build resilient, scalable AWS infrastructure for millions of real-time conversations.
• Create algorithms to surface insights, detect failure modes, and keep agents safe.
• Own work end-to-end across the full stack.
• Collaborate on-site with customers to build, sell, and deploy the product.
