Job summary

Cohere is building frontier AI systems and agentic solutions for enterprises and developers. This role focuses on designing novel agentic techniques, improving state-of-the-art performance, and researching online learning-from-experience methods.

You will collaborate with Reasoning, Post-training, and Pre-training teams to push capabilities further while supporting a fast-paced, inclusive work environment across remote-friendly offices.

Qualifications

• Experience with Python and ML codebases.
• Familiarity with LLMs and agentic frameworks is a plus.
• Experience with post-training LLMs (SFT, PEFT, or RL).
• Ability to build synthetic data generation pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop novel agentic solutions.
• Improve upon SOTA on hard agentic tasks.
• Research the next-generation of online learning-from-experience self-improvement.
• Work with partner teams to improve performance of agentic systems.
• Collaborate with researchers and engineers pushing the boundaries.
