Job summary

Gannett Fleming, Inc. seeks an Engineer in Training I–III to support TxDOT transportation projects in Laredo, TX. This full-time, onsite role includes hands-on experience in highway construction, documentation support, and field issue resolutions.

Ideal for emerging engineering professionals, the position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, engineering-related experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Salary ranges from $70,000 to $104,000 depending on experience. Comprehensive benefits package offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree accepted by TX PELS.
• Engineering-related experience required.
• Must be actively preparing for professional engineering licensing.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Quality Assurance oversight on highway projects.
• Collect engineering data at project sites.
• Prepare and verify Daily Work Reports and documentation.

Skills

Engineering-related experience in transportation

Ability to apply engineering principles

Valid driver’s license

Ability to work in a field construction environment

Communication skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline

Familiarity with SiteManager
