Help build a world‑class distributed open‑source database by turning logical query plans into efficient physical operators, driving performance for transactional, time‑series, and analytical workloads.

The role supports office‑based work in North America or remote across North America, with collaboration across time zones. You will mentor teammates and contribute to long‑term roadmaps.

Formación

• 10+ years in query engine development or database internals.
• Experience building production‑level code for large user bases.
• Degree in CS or equivalent with strong data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with large code bases in C++ or similar systems language.

Responsabilidades

• Define the 12‑month roadmap for Query Execution and provide technical vision.
• Deliver on long‑term goals, writing production‑ready C++ code.
• Advise management on architecture decisions and collaborate cross‑functionally.
• Mentor team members and contribute to talent development.
