Qualifications

• 7+ years designing and building highly scalable backend services.
• Proficiency with Kotlin as the primary development language, or Java with Kotlin focus.
• Experience with Spring Boot or similar backend frameworks.
• Experience with Coroutines and Dependency Injection.
• Strong cross-functional communication and collaboration.
• Familiar with Agile software delivery and SCRUM methods.
• Ability to work in a fast-growth environment where priorities shift quickly.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and development of major product features end-to-end.
• Define and scale engineering best practices across Client Services and peer teams.
• Conduct thorough design and code reviews to ensure quality, reliability, and security.
• Mentor engineers and foster technical ownership across multiple teams.
• Lead cross-functional delivery of multi-team projects and coordinate with product/design.
• Define testing strategy for complex client-side features and systems.
• Improve observability, reliability, and system resilience.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident resolution.
• Collaborate with product and design to align technology with roadmap.
