Job summary

AiDASH, Inc. is hiring a Staff Engineer to architect and build the services behind new products incubated in our pods. You will own back-end architecture for multi-tenant SaaS products from pilot through scale, and define languages and frameworks for each new product while shaping APIs for AI agents.

This hands-on role requires coding, shipping pilots, and setting a high technical bar for engineers, with strong focus on AI-native product development.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of back-end software engineering experience.
• Deep experience architecting multi-tenant SaaS and distributed systems at scale.
• Expert PostgreSQL knowledge, including schema design, performance tuning, and tenancy isolation.
• Strong API design skills and experience building tool surfaces for agents (MCP or similar).
• Expert in Java and proficient in Python or TypeScript, with architecture decisions experience.
• AI-Native Product Engineering: ability to use AI coding tools and agents to build and ship end-to-end products.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

The Role

We're looking for a Staff Engineer to architect and build the services behind new products incubated in our product pods. In this role, you will own back-end architecture for multi-tenant SaaS products from first pilot through production scale, make and defend the language and framework calls for each new product, and design the APIs and tool surfaces that let AI agents work with our data. This is a hands-on role: you will write code, ship pilots, and set the technical bar for the engineers around you.

• Build well-structured APIs and expose product capabilities as tool surfaces for AI agents using MCP or similar protocols

• Take new product ideas from concept to pilot to product, and make the call to stop work that isn't earning its place
• Raise the engineering bar through design reviews, mentoring, and hiring

What we're looking for:

• 8+ years of back-end software engineering experience.
• Deep experience architecting multi-tenant SaaS and distributed systems at scale.
• Expert PostgreSQL knowledge, including schema design, performance tuning, and tenancy isolation.
• Strong API design skills, with hands-on experience or clear depth building tool surfaces for agents (MCP or similar).
• Expert in Java and proficient in Python or TypeScript, with a record of making and defending language and framework choices.
• A track record of turning an idea into a pilot and then a product, and the judgment to know when to kill one.
• Architected a system that is still running in production at scale.
• AI-Native Product Engineering: Proven ability to use AI coding tools and agents to rapidly build, evaluate, and ship end-to-end products. Candidates will complete a hands-on, AI-assisted product-building interview to demonstrate their ability to direct AI tools, validate generated code, and make sound architectural trade-offs across inference infrastructure and user-facing application delivery.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

We offer a competitive annual pay range of $230,000 to $270,000 for this full-time position, which includes a base salary and bonus based on performance. This range reflects the anticipated annual pay range (base + bonus) for new hires. We strive to ensure our compensation packages are equitable and aligned with industry standards.
