Tensec is looking for a Staff Engineer to join their team in Cincinnati or Seattle. In this role, you'll lead through example, mentoring others and addressing technical challenges. Candidates should have a degree in IT or a related field and over 10 years of experience in enterprise B2B systems, with familiarity in Kubernetes and .NET.

Qualifications

• Developed enterprise B2B systems and mission-critical applications.
• Worked in a senior or staff-level role for at least 2 years.
• Familiar with micro-services, observability, and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Create, implement, and maintain reference architecture.
• Define and ensure adherence to design engineering standards.
• Coach and mentor to grow engineers’ technical competencies.

Skills

10+ years of experience developing enterprise B2B systems

Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerization

Mastery of SQL and NoSQL databases

Excellent proficiency in .NET and JVM languages

Ability to manage fast-paced environment stress

Education

Degree or equivalent experience in IT, computer science or engineering
