Job summary

Pinterest is seeking a Staff Engineer to lead the App Promotion engineering team. You will own the roadmap to take the App Install Optimization product from beta to GA, partnering with Ads, Measurement, and Product to align strategy and execution.

Manage a 5-6 person team of full stack and mobile engineers and drive an inclusive, high-performance culture. This role requires strong technical judgment, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to explain tradeoffs to stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS or a related technical field.
Several years of engineering management experience shipping production systems.
Experience in performance, growth, or ads engineering, preferably with app install/engagement objectives.

Responsibilities

Lead the App Promotion engineering team from beta to GA.
Define and refine advertiser experience in Ads Manager for App Promotion.
Ensure robust serving, modeling, and experimentation for app campaigns.
Close SKAN and MMP attribution gaps and ensure accurate reporting.
Establish engineering practices: design reviews, incident response, on-call and monitoring.
Hire, coach, and develop a diverse, high-performing team.
