Job summary

Rehlko seeks a Staff Engineer, Advanced Development to design predictive maintenance and control algorithms for power conversion and generation. You will develop and validate models in Simulink and deploy C++ code through automatic code generation, supporting engineering across the business.

The role requires MATLAB/Simulink proficiency, 5+ years in related work and a strong foundation in electrical machines or power electronics, with a hybrid on-site work mode in Sheboygan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET accredited institution.
• Master's Degree is preferred.
• 5+ years of work experience in relevant fields.
• 3+ years in Systems or Electronics Simulations.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement predictive maintenance algorithms to improve system reliability and decrease cost of ownership.
• Implement optimization algorithms to enhance existing and future designs.
• Develop controls in Simulink and deploy C++ code via automatic code generation.
• Design and implement feedback and model predictive control algorithms to meet performance and robustness requirements.
• Develop models of Engines, Alternators, Transformers and energy sources for System Simulations.
