Job summary

R. Joe Harris & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Staff Engineer to design civil site layouts, drainage, utilities, and roadways while guiding projects from concept to construction.

You will work with architects, planners, and environmental consultants to deliver cohesive, client-focused solutions and promote sustainable design practices across diverse projects in civil land development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in land development and civil site design.
• Pursuing licensure or are an EIT/PE (SC/NC) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of site design, stormwater management, and regulatory processes.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and related software.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills for client engagement.
