Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks a Staff Engineer in St. Louis, MO to lead agronomic and geospatial data processing with telecommuting and up to 25% travel.

You design REST/GraphQL APIs with Java, Clojure, Scala and deploy on Azure, AWS, and GCP while analyzing weather and soil data for in-season insights and AI integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in CS, IT, or related field.
• 3+ years in agronomic or crop science environments.
• Experience with MRMS, AHPS, PRISM, GHCN, ERA5, Java, Clojure, Scala, Python, GCP BigQuery, and cloud deployment.
