Job summary

The VA Puget Sound Health Care System in Seattle invites applications for a full-time Staff Endocrinologist (Board-Certified or Board-Eligible). Join a four-endocrinologist team plus clinical pharmacist in a level 1a tertiary center serving Veterans.

Opportunity for UW faculty appointment to participate in education and mentoring, research collaboration, and resident training. The facility is Magnet-recognized with strong research funding and a commitment to teaching.

Qualifications

• Board Certification/Eligible in Endocrinology (ABIM).
• Current, full, and unrestricted medical license in any state or territory of the US.
• US citizenship required (non-citizens may be considered if no qualified US citizen is selected).
• Strong commitment to clinical care, education, and advancing professional excellence.
• Interest in team-oriented, Veteran-focused care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, patient-centered general endocrinology care in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting.
• Contribute to an active research environment; many team members are grant-supported investigators.
• Engage in teaching and supervision of residents, fellows, and students in partnership with UW.
• Involvement at a Magnet-recognized facility with learners and strong research funding.
